Another view of my home made pickled red onions. Once I know my jars seal, I like to write what is in them in permanent marker on the flat lid (so that when I am done I know to throw the lid out and don't mix it in accidentally with my un-sealed lids).
I never thought to pickle onions before; sounds great
I had not specifically heard of it but I figured, hey why not? I think they would be good incorporated in to a salad, or perhaps like a meatloaf or something.
